Tattoo Removal and Carbon Peel Laser Training Seminar
Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser Training Seminar
Enhance your expertise in advanced aesthetic technology with our comprehensive Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser Training Seminar, designed for skincare professionals seeking to safely and effectively perform high-demand treatments such as tattoo removal, carbon peel (Hollywood Peel), and hyperpigmentation correction.
This hands-on training provides both theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring you gain confidence in delivering visible, results-driven treatments for facial and body concerns.
How the Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser Works
The Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser delivers ultra-short, high-intensity pulses of energy in nanoseconds. This rapid energy emission creates a photoacoustic effect, which targets pigment within the skin without damaging surrounding tissue.
The laser energy is selectively absorbed by chromophores (such as ink particles or melanin), breaking them down into smaller fragments that are naturally eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.
This technology is highly effective, precise, and safe for a wide range of skin types when used correctly.
Laser Wavelengths & Their Functions
The Q-Switched Nd:YAG system operates with three key wavelengths, each designed to target specific conditions:
1064 nm (Infrared Wavelength)
- Penetrates deeper into the skin
- Ideal for dark tattoo ink (black, blue)
- Treats deep dermal pigmentation
- Safe for darker skin types (Fitzpatrick IV–VI)
- Used for conditions like melasma and dermal lesions
532 nm (Green Wavelength)
- Targets more superficial pigment
- Effective for red, orange, and some brown tattoo inks
- Treats epidermal pigmentation, such as sunspots, freckles, and age spots
- Best suited for lighter skin types
1320 nm (Carbon Peel / Hollywood Peel Mode)
- Used in combination with carbon lotion
- Provides gentle exfoliation and skin rejuvenation
- Improves skin texture, pore size, oil control, and acne
- Stimulates collagen for a brighter, smoother complexion
- Commonly known as the “Hollywood Peel”
